Kids Korner by Katie Dawson
Hey Moose Kids!

Thanks to all the kids who came out for the Halloween party last month. A fun time was had carving pumpkins, playing games and riding the hayride! A big thank you to the adults that made all this possible for us ~ we appreciate all you do for the kids at Manassas Moose!
Thanks to the kids who were there to help with the dinner last month, and to those Moose members who supported us. We hope you enjoyed the Oktoberfest meal.
Once again our kids dinner is being held earlier this month due to Thanksgiving --- so mark your calendar and come out on November 11th for a pre-Thanksgiving turkey meal!!
Kids, be sure your parents have the calendar marked for BREAKFAST with SANTA! It will be held on Saturday, December 9th. There will be a sign up chart posted in the social quarters, so have your Mom or Dad write down your name if you are going to be there, Santa’s elves like to be prepared with a gift for the little ones!!
We look forward to seeing you at the Moose ??

Hello everyone....For those of you who haven't seen the lodge since the storms came through...We had a lot of damage and a few trees are missing. The most noticeable one is the Black Hemlock that was beside our entrance upstairs. The lodge looks different but we are still the same. Our playground took a huge battering during the storms as well and is dangerous to the kids. Please keep them off the playground until we have all the repairs made. We as a lodge have seen major changes around our lodge and none of us expected to see the changes outside...but there they are. We are still in clean up mode and the weather has not been helping. Once things dry out we will be back at working on everything. Until then - please excuse our mess!
