A reminder to everyone that our ball field is once again in use. The team this year is the Legends and they are very happy to be a part of the Moose. They hold practices here regularly and there are some games and tournaments scheduled for the field as well.

We are proud to have them as part of our Moose Family. They have stepped right up to help with the Wounded Warrior Amputee Team and are very excited to be a part of such a great weekend.

If you get the chance walk over to the ball field and watch some of our local talent. They are pretty good. Talk to the coaches and see if there is anything they need from us. We are always glad to lend a helping hand!

It is time for the ball fields to be busy and the weekend of April 21st is no different. The Manassas Moose is proud to host the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team! They will be flying in from various locations on the 20th and we have invited them to share the evening with us. A normal Friday Night Menu as well as entertainment from the Earl of Kent Band promises to make it a "rockin" good night at the Manassas Moose.

Saturday morning will be a busy one. The Team has a Doubleheader scheduled at 9am at the Valley View Park in Nokesville. (11930 Valley View Drive Nokesville Va). Come on down to the park and watch some amazing atheletes play their game. We hope to have the team back over to the Moose for a late lunch and to rest a bit before their 7:30 game (Valley View Park, Nokesville).

If you have not had the chance to meet these guys, it is truly an honor and one you don't want to miss.It is amazing to see them in action. All of them are veterans and all of them have overcome great adversity to be where they are now. They are truly hero's in every way.

Well that BIG snowstorm that we wanted never happened this year. But looking on the bright side, the weather will be getting warmer which means we can get outside for some fun!

Be sure to keep an eye out for information about the Wounded Warriors Softball Tournament that will be taking place the weekend of April 21st. Once plans are finalized, details will be posted at the lodge and the Facebook page I am sure.

Don’t forget to share any idea’s you have for kids activities. The committee is always looking for fun events for the Moose Kids!

Hello Manassas Moose Members!

The Moose year is winding down and I would like to thank those that have served on the board or committee chairman this past year. These volunteers put in a lot of time and energy to your Moose lodge. When you see them, please be sure to take a moment to thank them!

Last year our lodge was contacted by VMA about participating with the Wounded Warrior softball tournament. It is being held the weekend of April 21st. Information will be posted, be sure to keep an eye out for the details.

Be sure to come out for the April Saturday Night Dinner – on the 21st….we will have entertainment that night too!
